What a great and wonderful place!! We are visiting from Tennessee and found the cafe on here looking for vegetarian or whole food eateries and luckily found this place! My wife had the veggie burger and I had the micro plate! Both were very delightful!! So glad to find a sweet little gem while out visiting!!

Loved my smoothie. Loved my veggie burger. Loved my wife's salmon salad. She did not love that I loved her food. She loved it too. It was tense. In addition to the cafe, there are various activities and components (live music, painting studio, yoga studio, plant nursery, and so forth) that make this place more than a tasty destination, but a local cultural appendage. I like it. Nay, I love it.

I don't have an inch of healthy-eating bone in my body. I am the typical Chinese who eats everything on this planet, of course, in a smaller portion. I was running a vegetable deficit after devoured delightful fresh seafood for days. A nice aesthetic salad can fill the gap. Zen is the only darling on the Panama Cit Beach meets the task. It is not a easy task when you drag your better half whom I consider as a devil-alike spoiled Viking prig. Let's cut the chase. Let's get onto the salad, Kale-Avo. On a small flat square shape plate, was a pile of seasoned fresh chopped bite size kale leafs mixed with thin sliced green apple, radish, carrots, finished with a pinch of bean spouts on top. My first impression was filled with doubts. It looked dry. Where was the dazzling dressing? Where did that rich flavor come from? I figured it out till the last bite. A hint of green paste at the bottom of the dish enlightened me. Fresh Avocado, mashed, mixed with seasoning, rubbed into kale leafs. It is called sophisticated cooking in my dictionary. Overlooking at the Viking's side, he had a salmon salad. It was perfectly cooked. Glazed with ginger flavor soy sauce, the salmon was lightly pan fried. It was slightly pink in the middle. The heat perfectly penetrated. Viking was quiet. Usually, it is a good sign. To me, a pure spiritually infused Zen conflicts with mine, an opposite character hopelessly influenced by the darn ruthless Viking. On the bright side, my taste buds bowed to the heavenly blessed creativity. On the dark side, my inner organ that is used to accustomed food protested. It whispered to me: Where is my grease? The Viking calmly spited out a single word at my vulnerable moment: Detoxification.

My favorite weekday lunch pleasure. The salmon plate and the chili sauce is SO good. Shrimp tacos are delicious as well. Love sitting in the garden next to the water features and listening to the birds with my iced green tea. Love love love this place!

This place is simply amazing! As a vegan it's very hard to find places that accommodate my diet, but not here. I recently went here with my sister, who is also vegan, and we both had the veggie burger and pita and hummus, it was awesome, but if you're looking for something else they have a variety of yummy food. As a birthday treat they gave us some of the chocolate, and man was it good. We ended up buying some more. The service is amazing as well, the staff is very friendly and they love to chat. I would recommend eating outside and walking around the property, it's beautiful! If you're looking for a place to unwind and eat some delicious food, this is definitely the place.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!! My boyfriend and I were staying for a short vacation in Panama City and found this little gem. We were actually on the way to have breakfast at another restaurant when this caught our eye. The staff is so friendly and sweet. They started serving food almost a whole hour before they typically do just to accommodate us. We sat outside - a little paradise. There was a small pond surrounded by a stunning, lush garden. We watched little lizards and frogs as we enjoyed their fabulous food. The smoothies were out of this world good and the food was equally satisfying. The best part - it was all healthy & organic! The owners chatted with us and were just so nice and friendly. I kid you not... we came back THREE more times!! Once that same day for our next meal! It was the best part of our whole vacation.

Lotus Cafe is a nice lil' place. It's a small cafe with about 5 small tables inside, and a few outdoor spots within the garden. The atmosphere is lovely with all of the flowers and greenery, and pleasant music playing. Nice art hanging about, and even some cats roaming the garden. Casual attire is fitting for this dinning experience. The Food is pretty good. I had the Veggie burger and black beans and rice. My husband had the Same with a salad. The salad dressing was wonderful! We also had pita and hummus appetizer and tabouli. The Tabouli is the best I've ever had. A mixture of Quinoa with gogi berries and mint.... OH! So good. The hummus was nothing grande to speak of, but was presented and garnished beautifully. They even had raw options available. I had the raw brownie, which was fudgey, and pretty good. Over all, it's an excellent place for vegetarian or vegan options, or even some lean healthy meat options. If you like secret tucked away little gems, you should check it out. The price is so-so. Well, a little pricey, but that's to be expected from a healthy restaurant. I think the veggie burgers were 6$ a piece. My brownie was 4$ on its own... so draw your own conclusions.

There are three stores in one (Nursery, Cafe and Market). This is a great well stocked nursery with good prices and quality plants. They carry unusual plants as well as the mainstream plants. The staff is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to answer questions to make sure the plants are suited for your planting sites. They have been at this location for 10+ yrs.

Love this place! Visiting from Maryland and had a hard time finding organic food. So happy we drove by and stopped in for some produce. The next day we ate lunch there and it was amazing. Hoping we can get there one more time before we head home.

What a remarkable find in PCB! The outdoor seating area with plants and pond makes one want to bust out in vinyasa at any given moment. The music and environment is somewhat trendy and holistic at the same time. I really appreciate the fresh offerings here. I opted for the kale salad, and it actually was very satisfying. Loose leaf teas and other gifts may be purchased here as well. So great to have a healthy choice in a city filled with seafood and wings.

Such a peaceful place to enjoy a meal. It doesn't look like much from the outside view of the front, but you enter into the back into this peaceful garden with waterfalls and ponds, trees, flowers and plants. I instantly felt at ease. I met I'm assuming the owner who was watering the vegetation, he greeted me and we talked for a bit. Even though they don't start serving lunch until 11 he was still cool with serving me a curry chicken wrap, which was mind blowing at 10am. I also went with the peanut butter Buddha smoothie was was exquisite. I will make it a point to come back to this place for sure

Liked my black bean & rice wrap. A little bland, but still good. The nachos were great though. Good atmosphere.

What a great find this place is! So close to the beach, easy parking, and a very peaceful environment. The staff is very eager to please their customers, and worked hard to ensure our order was correct (there were 9 of us). The shrimp tacos were awesome... I had that along with homemade lemonade Other family members had ordered the wraps. I would gladly go back to try out a smoothie for breakfast, and maybe even take a Yoga class that's offered! Yummy!

A combination of health food restaurant and smoothie bar ("Lotus Cafe and Fluid Lounge"), a small organic produce market ("Zen Garden Market") and a plant store in the same location. The market part is very small, the plant store is pretty large, however this review is about the restaurant and smoothie bar.. The restaurant is beautiful because it is nestled in the back amongst the gardens. A very tranquil spot. I tried the baked falafel sandwich (baked falafel in pita stuffed with a sort of greek salad) with hummus and pita bread on the side (all that was about $8, which seems like an OK price) and a very tasty smoothie including organic cacao, goji berries , and various other things (a bit pricey at $6, but it was very, very good!).. The falafel sandwich was quite good, the hummus and the pita bread were so-so (they seemed like they were store bought products..) The ambience of the place is great and I was thrilled and surprised to find a health food restaurant in this rather unsophisticated and non-health-food oriented area; it seems like the sort of place that one would find in my former home - Santa Fe, New Mexico..

Absolutely great! We looked all around the beach area for a quality restaurant that serves organic and vegan food. This is the only real one and we have tried them all. We had a lovely veggie burger made from scratch featuring nice thick gluten free bread. We also loved the Salmon and think it was the best we have ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is great. They care about the food quality and its expert preparation. Everything was first class and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss this one.

Wow!! What a precious gem of a place!! I was in dire need of some fresh, organic food and had seen a smoothie sign hanging in the trees of a little place as we came into town. I told my husband let's go there. He's a good man who also loves smoothies, so we went. When you pull up you're instantly surrounded by lush vegetation and the sound of flowing water. You walk through some tree tunnels and come up on an art studio with easels set up and a young man painting, who greeted us with a big smile. We walked in to The Lotus Cafe and were instantly greeted by the owner. Once we realized that everything was organic and there was a full menu we were so glad we decided to come in. The owner recommended the Power Wrap so we got that along with our smoothies. Both of which were absolutely delicious!! One of the best wraps I've ever had!! After we ate outside and had a nice conversation with the owner we realized there was also a yoga studio, an organic market, nursery, and little gift store as well. All of my favorite things in one perfect place!! If you love yourself and the world you will absolutely love The Lotus Cafe!! I give it 10 stars!! We just stopped by for round 2 this morning on our way out of town. So very glad my desire for a smoothie lead us here! The world needs more places like this!! Thank you for doing what you do and your hospitality!!

Was in Florida a couple of weeks ago for my niece's wedding. I found this spot listed online as the only vegetarian restaurant in the city (smh). But quite frankly it was pretty darn good. I ordered the seed cheese, alkaline juice with carrot and apple extra and the black bean avocado bowl. My companion had a smoothie and a shrimp salad and shared one of the two seed cheese appetizers that I ordered. That seed cheese made me go in honey. It was so gosh darn good! My bowl was very good too. My companion's food was great. And the service was awesome. We promised the nice little lady that waited on us that I would do an online review. Keep in mind that It's a very small cafe with charm and personality. AND don't forget to check out the cool zen garden out back. My friend had one of their "special" chocolates containing kava kava for dessert to go. She is not familiar with vegetarian cuisine, so she wanted to know if kava kava was the vegetarian code name for marijuana; because the chocolate had her floating on Florida sunshine. I will take that to mean, it was pretty darn good too.

Ive been driving past this place for ever and had no clue what it was (honestly I thought it was some weird pottery place or something) "Get me whatever you get" I said to my co-worker as she went to grab lunch, and there it was.... Zen Garden Market, Lotus Cafe and Fluid Lounge. "Uh-OH" was my first thought, But after giving it a fair shot, Ive eaten here like 8 time now. The portabella mushroom swiss philly on whole wheat is probably my favorite so far. The carrot juice at first taste was 'not so much' but about halfway through it, it really started to grow on me. Be warned its not cheap, but neither is working off 1000 calorie Happy Meal from where ever it is you just ate lunch at!

If you're looking for a healthy and delicious meal or smoothy, while sitting in paradise...this is the spot! My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner. The food is organic, healthy, well prepared, well presented; and most of all - tastes great! The owners are friendly. The atmosphere feels like you're in Costa Rica surrounded by beautiful plants, lily ponds, and fountains. There are tables inside if you like climate controlled environments during the hot summer days, as well as tables in the garden that are perfect for breakfast or late lunch. Apparently, twice a week they also hold yoga classes...it's something I'm definitely going to try next time I'm in town. Please keep in mind, that this is not your local Spring Break hangout...this is a flower nursery, health store, and organic cafe. I really can't emphasize enough how much I enjoyed this place! The residents PCB are lucky to have this gem because it's enough to keep me visiting the area:) Disclaimer: if you're looking for a pub atmosphere or unhealthy food...this is not the place. If you are looking for a relaxing piece of heaven that your tastebuds and hips will thank you for...you will not be disappointed. It scores 5/5 for me in every respect!

Love to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful garden area. Recommend the chicken/portabello wrap. Also, love the Peanut Butter Buddha (I get mine modified with no banana and sweetened with dates = yum). Very friendly staff (Ashley usually makes my smoothies for me). Check it out :-)

Friend and I decided to come here after a long swim on the beach and she was parched. I had my doubts but since she's a vegetarian and I told her this was a healthy smoothie bar option she jumped on the idea. Off we go! Beware the parking since backing out will lead you into a huge blind spot on to the main road. Well she or a antioxidant smoothie and I had a taste, wasn't too sweet and it tasted amazing! Plus they gave her a refill to finish off the freshly blended fruits. The environment is very chill and friendly. I had some root beer and they let us walk around the gardens before I paid. One of many places i will return to. The gardens are beautiful! Despite the fact that the water smells like sewage (common thing apparently) it was very serene and I'm thoroughly glad I picked this spot, great addition to a perfect day that I will never forget.

I initially I almost didn't make it here because gps leads you to the wrong location. My suggestion is to put the comfort inn into gps and it's across the street. Few basics, first: Free parking Connected to other interests Closed Sunday but open the rest of the weekdays Food: Healthy. Okay, so healthy to me isn't just low fat cheese. This is healthy as in raw, fresh ingredients that are prepared without grease dripping out of every angle. I went with my craving and dove into a veggie burger and a side of black bean and rice. Instantly, I thought that if I wanted to cook something tasty and healthy, this would be it. Thinly sliced bread, lettuce, onion, guacamole ($), a patty and mayo(?)....simple, easy. The beans and rice were warm and treated as a soup. I'd gladly come back for more on the menu. The dining areas are spread out (inside, outside, both) and surrounding is a zen like area ie. Buddha, artwork, small pond, garden...THAT is what makes this different from the other mom and pop health eateries. It's not a wow type of zen but considering the area, it's away from the busy streets. Service is the type that CHEERS had, owner knows your name. There's regulars and they come in for food, some just come in for a juice cleansing and others are there to shuffle paperwork (school/business). Returnable: 100%

Good food, friendly staff. I'd go back! The café has smoothies, salads, raw nut cheese and homemade veggie burgers along with other options. The market had just gotten in relishes and other foods from a South Carolina company that makes everything by hand. My wife, grandmother and I loved it all!
